Aviation Week Network, a multi-channel service provider is coming up with the second edition of MRO East Asia. The main aim of this event is to explore the key issues and concerns in the East Asia region, examining how airlines and their suppliers can optimize maintenance planning to effectively manage to expand fleets. The event is scheduled to happen on March 7 to 8 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
According to Aviation Week’s Fleet and MRO Forecast, the Southeast Asia market will generate US $5.8 billion in MRO demand in 2018, while the broader Asia-Pacific MRO market is expected to generate US $22.6 billion by 2027, at 4.3 percent per annum.

As the level of MRO market escalates, the challenges surrounding the region will also intensify. To help meet those challenges, The MRO East Asia two-days agenda will focus on the current and future shape of the aftermarket, MRO industry analysis, entry into service, fleet development trends, advanced technologies and IT applications.
Ravinder Pal Singh, Chief Information, and Innovation Officer, Tata SIA Airlines will be speaking on the Internet of Things(IoT) applications in the MRO at the event.
Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company (VAECO), a subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines, is one of several key sponsors of the event.
The VAECO facility operates 6 hangars, suitable for both narrow and wide-body aircraft. Delegates will be given insight into extensive maintenance services including; line and base maintenance, component repair and overhaul, as well as aircraft painting for the Vietnam Airlines’ fleet and more than 70 international customers.
